Claire Gomez-Miller

Claire Gomez-Miller is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK); and Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago.  She is also a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Risk Management Assurance Professional of the Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. (USA). 

Mrs. Gomez-Miller is currently serving as Board Member of State and Private organisations in the energy, insurance and financial sectors.  

Mrs. Gomez-Miller has more than 30 years’ internal auditing, risk management and governance experience in State and private organisations within the energy, insurance and financial sector at senior executive and Board levels.  

She was the Chief Audit Executive for the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) Group of Companies from 2000 until her retirement in 2014.  She served as NGC Group’s Enterprise Risk Management Facilitator; Member of the Board Audit & Risk Committee of Atlantic LNG and National Energy Skills Centre; Board Director/Board Audit & Risk Committee Chair of Trinidad Petroleum Holdings Limited, Heritage Petroleum Company Limited, Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago (PETROTRIN); and Board Director of LABIDCO and Lake Asphalt.   

Mrs. Gomez-Miller also served as President/Board Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Trinidad and Tobago; and as a Certified Instructor, District Advisor and Board Committee Member with the Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. (USA); and Board Member of the Trinidad and Tobago Society for Quality.
